Abstract(in English) | For improvements of content-based image retrieval, some indexes that calculate similarities between 2 color images are needed. In this paper, we propose divergence similarity (dsim) for color similarities of images. Divergence similarity is based on Jensen-Shannon divergence. A subjective assessment experiment was developed and performed, and it showed that there was a statistically significant correlation between dsim and human’s visual perceptions by statistical tests. |
