Development and Practice of a Keyword-based e-portfolio System to Deepen Understanding of Learning Contents Through Association and Review Activities

Abstract(in English) Students are required to improve "bachelor's abilities". "Knowledge and understanding" are basic compornents of such abilities. To acquaire good knowledge and understanding, students have to study through association and review activities. In order to help students learn deeply, we developed keyword-based e-portfolio system. On this system, learners input keywords of learning contents, describe their meanings, and explain contents using several keywords as association activities. Learnners can also check their comprehension level of keywords and explanations as review activities. Practical experiments shows this system is effective for students' deep understanding and learning.
