| Abstract(in English) | To avoid the degradation of luminance resolution in the area of high saturation color, we have the frame sequential video which three color planes appear sequentially. This system requires the interpolation of missing color at the display, however, motion estimation between different colors is not easy in high saturation color. To solve this problem and to achieve perceptually rational processing, we add white component to each frame. In this report, we try the subtraction primary colors from pure white, instead to the adding the white component to primary colors. In the case of full subtraction at one color component, it is the complementary color system. Therefore, we call this the complementary pastel color. We checked the performances of this color system with change the rate of subtraction of primary color. As the results, better performance is recognized on the processing with the same motion estimation and inter-frame processing for the primary pastel color system. |
