Relationships between activity of game programming and participant's reflections using team-based work

Abstract(in English) The usability results in the online game development project were examined the relationships with (1) learning reflection, (2) social media communications within teams, and (3) participants’ characteristics and information literacy. The project tasks were performed by an Arabic team, a Japanese team, and an International team. Thelearning reflection and the participants’ attribute were measured using questionnaires, and communications amongthe teams were analyzed using protocol analysis. At first, the usability scores between versions were investigated, and the improvement of scores among team were examined. Next, correlation analysis was conducted between theusability scores and contributory factors. As the result, the participants’ information literacy, communication, andthe difficulty of teamwork were related to the usability scores. Based on the results above, the management methodin team-based work and supporting method in online environment were examined.
