Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the fifth generation of cellular system, use of 28 GHz band is discussed as new radio frequency assignment. Since the band is also allocated to the satellite service which is now being operated, their mutual interferences will be an important study issue. In the report, we deal with the mutual interference between satellite system and cellular system. Interference to the cellular base station from the satellite user earth station is major issue together with that in the satellite uplink from the cellular system. Considering the communication specifications of both systems, it is thought that the interferences will not be necessarily harmful. On the other hand, if it is required that even small interference is monitored, an interference measuring scheme with high sensitivity is needed. The authors have been engaged in the feature detection scheme using frequency multiplying function and also using Cyclic Prefix (CP) in the OFDM signal. Herein, such schemes are applied to the estimation method of the power ratio of the satellite signal to cellular signal. The satellite system model under discussion is mobile satellite service, which will be commercialized in near future. The specifications of the cellular system is supposed on the basis of the presently operating LTE system, which is named PoC (Proof of Concept). From the computer simulation results, it is concluded that the power ratio of 20 dB can be estimated with high accuracy, in such supposed system models. Furthermore, in the feature detection of cellular signal, it is clarified that the satellite signal can be treated like as input thermal noise, where the satellite signal affects the detection performance as interfering source.
