| Abstract(in English) | A nation-wide user survey was conducted on reading and writing for the blind. Among 202 respondents, 147 people (73%) were using the reading and writing services or asking their familiy members and friends to do so. The cross tabulations revealed the difference in the use rate, documents to be read or written, use frequency, and problems by service providers and residential areas. The respondents who did not use the reading and writing services were asked of the reason for not using them, and documents to be read or written with these services in the future. |
