Abstract(in English) | Road pavement can be damaged by repeated traffic and environmental loading. In this report, we present an advanced technique which uses radar interferometry which computes the differential phase changes radar echoes to monitoring the deformation of the pavement surface. We describe a method using real aperture radar (RAR) to monitor the pavement of normal road. From the radar profile, we could easily distinguish the moving car. In addition, using the Radon transform and interferometry technique, the deformation of the road surface after heavy truck could be observed. Then, we will discuss using ground based synthetic aperture radar (GB-SAR) for an airport taxiway monitoring. The GB-SAR interferometry technique could monitor very precise and small displacement of the targets with 0.18mm accuracy. The proposed approach has been applied to monitoring a taxiway in Haneda Airport. Based on this technique, we could clearly observe the movement of the building that generated by the heat-expansion and cold-contraction. The results provided by this technique also clearly showed that the taxiway will be deformed after an airplanes are passed. Moreover, we could observed the long time vibration of the taxiway surface. Compared with the deformation from the defects or anomalies area and sounding area, we could conclude that the deformation from the anomalous area is much unstable and random. |
