Abstract(in English) | In the current wireless distributed network systems, it is difficult to accurately estimate radio propagation characteristics. In this paper, we propose a radio environment database which registers actual observed values for the V2V communication systems. The database aggregates received signal strength indicator (RSSI) corresponding to transmission / reception positions. By using the aggregated data set, a radio environment map (REM) is created for each transmission position. In order to construct the proposed database, we have performed measurement campaigns of V2V communications in an actual environment and created REM by using the obtained data set. We evaluate the accuracy of the database by Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). The results show that the proposed database can accurately estimate radio propagation characteristics compared with the existing pass loss model. |
