Abstract(in English) | We have proposed Spread Spectrum Code Division Multiple Access (SS-CDMA) short message communication using Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) for safety confirmation system at the time of large disaster. The proposed system controls the transmission timing using highly accurate time and position information obtained from the QZSS. In order to realize the proposed system, we evaluate the time synchronization accuracy. As a prototype, when a time synchronization system with Network Time Protocol (NTP) server is constructed, it has a timing synchronization error of 1.07 μs. Since the target time synchronization accuracy of the prototype with NTP is not satisfied because of software delay, we design and implement a transmission timing control system that performs hardware processing without software delay using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) in this work. As a result of evaluating the time synchronization accuracy, when the delay time for the transmission timing control is 330 ns, an error within 8 ns occur in the implemented system. Also, it is found that there is a proportional relationship between the delay time and the terminal time deviation. |
