Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Nowadays, people have an opportunity to communicate with others by using handwriting, and there are a lot of official approvals and lectures of handwriting. So, many people want to get good handwriting skills. However, it is not easy for them to maintain their motivation of practice because a conventional practice method is a monotonous behavior. So far we have achieved one system to solve this problem. The system, which creates a merging of their characters and corresponding model drawn by others automatically, enables people to improve their handwriting skills and motivations. In this paper, eight participants tried handwriting test by using Mojivator and tracing for a month. We validated the usefulness of our system and effects of participant’s action. In the results, participants improved handwriting skills and maintain motivation by our system better than by tracing.
