Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In cockpit development of an automobile, it is important to clarify the human cognitive mechanism and to design the ideal shape and position of information displays. In the preceding studies, it was learned that the angle ratio of the head and the eyeball changes depending on the task for cognitive action to visual object, but influence of the dynamic situation while driving an automobile wasn't considered. We examined the influence of visual stimulus for self-motion on cognitive action (optical flow) in the dynamic situation. The feature of the head and eyeball motion was measured on cognitive action this time. The velocity of simulated movement was used as a parameter. The results showed that the feature of the head and the eyeball motion changed with the simulated velocity of optical flow, on the dynamic situation. We discuss this result with the attentional distribution while driving automobile and the individual differences. |
