Abstract(in English) | Ad hoc networks have the advantage of network establishment flexibility that use a relay function of the devices when fixed base stations are not available such as disasters. In ad hoc networks, OR (Opportunistic Routing) has been proposed. In this routing scheme, each terminal opportunistically selects next relay terminals and controls forwarding without relying on any specific route under the environment where frequent topology and environment changes occur. There is a drawback that less path diversity results in higher packet loss rate in a low terminal density due to disconnection of the communication path, and this brings a decrease of transmission success rate and efficiency. In this paper, a new OR is proposed. In this scheme, packet transmission terminals calculate waiting time based on the number of neighbour terminals and set higher forwarding priority on the terminal based on the waiting time to improve communication efficiency by using higher forwarding probability links. |
