Multiagent-based Evacuation Guidance Support System for Coastal Area

Abstract(in English) It is difficult for us to deal with an unexpected natural disaster (e.g., earthquake, tsunami, torrential rain) which is hard to predict because the indoor (or outdoor) situation changes from a normal state to an emergency state in the emergency case. This paper describes an agent-based evacuation guidance support system for coastal area. This system autonomously determines evacuation guidance plans by situation recognition while cooperating and coordination with IoT devices (e.g., robots, home appliances, sensors, smartphones) and immediately support evacuation guidance. In this paper, we describe the concept and overview of our system including functionality of situation recognition and evacuation guidance planning, and demonstrate some prototype systems to confirm the effectiveness of our proposed functions.
