Abstract(in English) A Brillouin optical correlation domain reflectometry (BOCDR) system using polarization diversity is developed. Polarization diversity is used for detecting backscattered light from a single mode fiber despite changing polarization state. Measuring speed is improved by updating polarization diversity method from a time-divided alternative measurement to a space-divided simultaneous measurement. A sampling rate reaches 1 kHz.
