Abstract(in English) | For practical use of MCF, the establishment of its connectivity technology is essential. We have developed multiple MCF connectors with MT type ferrule for high density optical interconnection. In this study, we developed 8-fiber MT type connector with 125 m cladding 5-core MCF for compatibility with conventional SMF system. Connection loss of fabricated MCF connector 0.30 dB on average was achieved. |
