Abstract(in English) | Transmission characteristics of a long period fiber grating (LPFG) in the 800 nm wavelength range which is composed of an optical fiber with a cutoff wavelength of 600 nm, a screw, and a heat shrinkable tube are investigated experimentally. We clarify the relationships between the temperature and the resonance loss and between the temperature and the resonance wavelength from the experimental results. We also show the applicability of our LPFG to the optical fiber in the 800 nm wavelength region. |
