| 抄録(和) | 2016年11月に米国ボルチモアで開催されたMILCOM2016 (Military Communication Conference)の概要を紹介する．MILCOMは2016年で35回目になる産官学合同の防衛通信のイベントで，政府関係者の基調講演，パネルディスカッション，アカデミックな技術発表，展示会，チュートリアル等から構成される．AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association)，IEEE Communication Societyが共催．2016年のテーマは「Secure communications at the speed of cyber」．通信，ネットワーク，システム，衛星通信，サイバー等の技術発表の他，基調講演ではスピードということが意識されていた． |
| 抄録(英) | We present the outline of MILCOM2016 held at Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. in November 2016. MILCOM is a premier military communication event with industry, government and academia, and is the 35th in 2016. It consists of keynote speeches of government related people, panel discussions, academic presentations, exhibitions, tutorials and so on. It is co-sponsored by AFCEA (Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association) and IEEE Communication Society. The main theme of 2016 conference is “Secure communications at the speed of cyber.” In keynote speeches consideration of “speed” was mentioned, as well as in technical presentations in the area of communication, network, system, satellite communication, and cyber. |
