| Abstract(in English) | We developed the discrimination method between voluntary and spontaneous eye blinks to realize an input interface by the blink．For the blink discrimination, we use the feature value acquired from the eye image. The dimensions of feature vector are reduced by the PCA. The proposed method employs the support vector machine to discriminate between voluntary and spontaneous blinks. From the experimental results, the F value representing the discrimination performance of voluntary blink exceeds 80%. The experimental results show the possibility of the input interface by the blink. |
