Spin transport properties in thin Bi2212 single crystals

Abstract(in English) Superconducting and spin devices are expected to improve the performances such as operation speed and power saving because of they directly control the macroscopic quantum phenomena. Therefore, it is possible to develop a novel spin functional device having both features of superconductive coherency and magnetic spin controllability if they are combined. It is well known that high Tc superconductor BSCCO is composed of a natural stack of intrinsic Josephson junctions consisting of quasi two dimensional superconducting and insulating layers. In this study, we fabricate the ferromagnet / superconductor hybrid structure using the BSCCO and report on the influence of spin injection effect on the transport property in BSCCO thin single crystal.
