Superconducting transmit double-strip resonator filter with a new feeding structure

Abstract(in English) A superconducting transmit double-strip resonator (DSR) filter using a stripline (SL) feeding structure was developed. The insertion loss of proposed filter was improved compared with a conventional filter using center pin (CP) feeding structure. A four-pole elliptic function DSR filter with SL feeding structure was designed by the electromagnetic simulator. The center frequency and bandwidth are a 5.0-GHz and a 80-MHz. The filter was fabricated using YB2Cu3O7 thin films on an r-Al2O3 substrate. The measured frequency response of the filter was in reasonable agreement with the simulated ones. The measured power handling capability of the proposed filter was more than 40 W at 60K.
