[Invited Talk] Design of Wireless Communication for Reliable Consensus Problem

Abstract(in English) Japanese government decided to place great importance on four key technologies, IoT, Big data, AI, and high-level of robot technology, in order to achieve the fourth industrial revolution. This work focuses on ahigh-level of robot technology, specially consensus problem, and proposes to jointly design it from the aspects of control theory and communication theory. Most of the conventional works in control theory have discussed control techniques under unfeasible assumption of wireless communications, e.g., fixed communication links, error-free and so on. This work focuses on a multi-user interference and half-duplex constraint in a consensus problem and proposes a new Slotted-ALOHA system that changes the call occurrence probability corresponding to the states of communication and control.
