Abstract(in English) | In order to quickly create and provide new services, FASA modularizes access network functions and combines flexibly them. FASA also replaces network element used dedicated hardware with a combination of commercial hardware. Therefore, depending on the reliability of the commercial hardware to be used, the reliability of the network equipment will decrease as compared with the case of using dedicated hardware. In this paper, we organized the configuration of OLT to be combined with commercial hardware and evaluated improvement of reliability required for each configuration. In addition, focusing on NG-PON 2, which is a candidate for the next generation access network system, we extracted high availability configurations and investigated the switching indication path which is a problem in the extracted configuration. |
