| Abstract(in English) | We have proposed Ultra-configurable packet switch which is extremely customizable for packet processing to realize new packet service more quickly and flexibly in SDN era. Since increasing the customizability of table search of Match function effects throughput performance, it is necessary for operator to care in configuring table search method, table size relative to Match condition like key length and number of Match entry etc. This means the operating cost of the switch is very high. In this paper, we study the search table abstraction by which the switch autonomously selects/changes search method, table size and so on by investigating match condition from controller and the operating cost is reduced. And we prove the effectiveness of this function by using the prototype system. |
