Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Concurrent transmission (CT) is a multi-hop protocol that greatly improves the network performance by allowing synchronized packet collisions. Many researches have shown that CT helps to improve the energy efficiency and latency of 2.4GHz IEEE-802.15.4-based multi-hop networks. In view of the great potential of long range sub-GHz technologies for future IoT applications, we assess the feasibility of applying CT to sub-GHz low-power wide-area (LPWA) receivers. We focus on the LoRa standard with chirp spread spectrum and FSK modulation. We conduct not only simulation but also real-chip experiment to show that LoRa receiver can endure the packet collisions. |
