Abstract(in English) | Recently, a risk of information leakage, such as eavesdropping on display screens and typing characters of mobile devices through electromagnetic radiation from the devices, has been concerned. In this case, typical conventional electromagnetic shielding technologies, which are applied for suppressing the electromagnetic radiation, have no applicability, because that the frequencies of the electromagnetic radiation and the frequencies of wireless communications are in the same range. This paper describes a proposal of advanced electromagnetic shield, which realizes both the suppression of the electromagnetic radiation, and the successful wireless communications, by applying electromagnetic-controllable materials on the shield, which are called as frequency selective surface (FSS). In order to suppress the electromagnetic radiation under 1 GHz, authors have studied about a design method of the FSS resonator that would not depend on a wavelength of the electromagnetic radiation, by evaluating a relationship between structure parameters and frequency characteristics of an H-shaped resonator. As a result, authors have confirmed that it is possible to design the FSS resonator by using lumped parameters, would not be depend on the wavelength of the electromagnetic radiation under certain conditions, by electromagnetic analysis with HFSS. Additionally, authors have proved the validity of the design method, by succeeding to design a cross-shaped ring FSS with a one third size of conventional resonator, which works at the same resonant frequency. |
