Abstract(in English) When teachers evaluate speaking activities online, they can see only what the camera of the computer displays and its view is so limited. It makes the evaluation more difficult than the one when teacher are nearby. We ask Filipino teachers to join classroom English speaking activities held at a Japanese university and to evaluate students’ speech. We compare the evaluation and comments by Japanese teacher in the class with the Filipino teachers’ evaluation and comments and examine which part of evaluation online is difficult and inappropriate.
