Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Haiku is an art of ellipses. Writers embed their thought and emotion in ultimately brief sentence. Haiku is originally produced from some background story. However, reader can hardly derive original story from a given Haiku. This paper describes some internal conceptual space lying between Haiku and its original story. The concept of Entropy that estimates the representational compactness of Haiku, is also mentioned together with background story.
