Abstract(in English) In order to build an automated system for anomaly detection such as concrete cracks through hammering tests, hammering mechanisms to provide an effective impact force are highly important as well as weight and space-saving, which improve the accuracy in acoustic analysis. In the present study, we focused on the amount of energy at the first impact moment and proposed the quantitative comparison of the steel ball-drop test, hammers in human inspection and an improved automated hammering system based on spring dynamics.
