Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optimization of periodic injection signals for stable synchronization of a single oscillator has been studied recently, but optimization of mutual coupling for synchronization of multiple oscillators has not been considered well. In this study, we analyze optimization of coupling matrices between two oscillators, which undergo mutual synchronizion by weak diffusive coupling. We derive the coupling matrix between the state variables of the oscillators that maximizes linear stability of the synchronous state by using the phase reduction theory, and illustrate that the synchronized state is actually stabilized and the convergence to the synchronized state becomes faster by using several examples of nonlinear oscillators.
