Proposal of carbohydrate restriction support system using object recognition

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we describe a carbohydrate restriction support system that visually provides sugar mass and intake allowance contained in the food by comparing it with a food nutrition database by recognizing objects from foods. In recent years, with the diversification of cooking, the number of diabetic patients increases year by year. Carbohydrate restrictions are addressed as treatment and prevention of diabetes. However, it is not easy to continue carbohydrate restriction over the long term. One of the causes is the calculation of the sugar mass contained in the food and the adjustment of the intake amount. In this study, in order to improve motivation of carbohydrate restriction and healthy continuation, object recognition was done on dishes, sugar mass included in cooking using cooking name, food nutrition database, cooking mass We propose a carbohydrate Therefore, in this research, we propose a carbohydrate restriction support system that visually provides sugar mass and intake allowance contained in food using nutrient calculation method which was already studied.
