| Abstract(in English) | In this report, I mention the fateful encounter with the subspace method, its fun and practicality, through looking back on my research history with the development of various face recognition systems. Next, I summarize the history on the extensions from the subspace method to the mutual subspace method, and further various enhancements of their classification ability. |
