Abstract(in English) | In the field of exterior wall inspection, infrared inspection has gotten attention because it is time-saving and safety procedure. The infrared inspection is based on the property of exterior walls that anomalies in a wall affect its temperature. However, such inspection is known to be sensitive against wall color because the temperature of exterior walls varies according to wall color as well as anomalies in the walls. In this report, we propose an infrared and color inspection method that considers both thermal and color information. Given a pair of color image and infrared image sequence, we first estimate their geometric relationship. On the color image, the proposed method partition the exterior wall surface into several groups so as to gather similar color tiles as a single group. For each group, the proposed method detects anomalies in the group by analyzing the temperature change of the tiles. We validated the proposed method using both a model and a real exterior wall data. |
