Abstract(in English) In the accident survey, a commonly reported consequence is the risk of usage of smart devices and cellphones in teen driving and the severe confusion by elderly drivers. It requires the accurate monitoring of the driver's status including mental workloads to prevent fatal and injury accidents. A possible measurement method with a high temporal resolution is electroencephalography (EEG), while the noise removal such as muscular potentials and vehicle vibrations is an inevitable issue to estimate the true workload. In the present study, we investigated the tendency of the EEG noise contamination in driving and validated the performance of the Morphological Component Analysis (MCA) when applying to the measurement data in real vehicle driving.
