Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In our previous study, we proposed a dedicated circuit, called a screening circuit, that screens packes on a network at high speed. This paper proposes a method to generate optimum screening patterns for the screening circuit. The proposed method is a heuristic to reduce the size of the screening circuit without overlooking malicious packets. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed method, we compare patterns generated by the proposed method with those used in our previous study. Comparison results show that the size of screening circuit can be reduced significantly by using the patterns generated by the proposed method.
