Cog Network for realizing End-to-End Services

Abstract(in English) We observe many end-to-end connected services that encounter difficulties if we only rely on end-to-end IP network connectivity. We believe it is less effective to realize services for networked society if we simply connect end-system functions each other and let end systems to solve any problems. Instead of providing end-to-end services by merely connecting each entity, we propose a concept of Cog Network by using overlay network architecture with functions that assist upper layer applications.
