Abstract(in English) | Locally repairable codes (LRCs) are a class of codes designed for the local correction of erasures. Locality and Availability are important metrics of the locally repairable capability. Several upper bounds on minimum distances and dimensions of LRCs have been reported and the optimal code construction to achieve the upper bound is studied. Furthermore, locally repairable capability is investigated for conventional codes such as Hamming code and BCH code. In this paper, we discuss the construction of LRC by modifying the check matrix of SEC-DED code and LRCs by modifying the majority logic decodable code with specific conditions. Furthermore, we discuss the locally repairable capability of EG-LDPC code and PG-LDPC code. |
