Abstract(in English) | P2PTV is a popular video delivery software using P2P-multicast, and it is well known that streaming traffic is shared over a network without localization awareness, causing considerable increase of network traffic. For this problem, delay insertion based traffic localization schemes have been studied, and ATO (Ashop based Traffic Optimization) is one of these schemes. However applying ATO to P2P file sharing session lengthen file download time. In order to solve this problem, some parameter needs to be changed properly. In this paper, we consider optimal parameter setting that does not increase download time when applied to P2P file sharing. In addition, we propose a method for identifying P2PTV and P2P file sharing packets without applying high load to CPU of edge routers. |
