| Abstract(in English) | With the rapid spread of smartphones in recent years, traffic accidents have occurred frequently at “texting while driving” and have become a social problem. To verify the influences and the risks of "texting while driving", experiments to measure the driving behavior and the gaze of the driver were conducted using an instruction car in the course of the drivers’ school. When the driver operated the smartphone for e-mail application and game application while driving, and also operated the hands-free phone while driving, delay of departure and blinker operation, unstable steering wheel operation, delay of the discovery of rush out and oversight of the signal have occurred. It was found that “texting, while driving” was very dangerous. |
