Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an improved method for Automatic HDR Hallucination method. There are many LDR images though technologies for HDR images have been evolved. The Automatic HDR Hallucination method generates a HDR image from one LDR input image with reconstruction of textures lost by over-exposure. However, this method can generate "false" textures which do not exist in the original image because it judges over-exposure areas by luminance only. To solve this problem, we propose a method which judges over-exposure areas more accurately by using HSV color space. Results of experiment suggest that our method can judge over-exposure areas more accurately than the previous method.
