Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The feathery receiver initiated transmission (F-RIT) protocol has been proposed for wireless smart utility network (Wi-SUN) systems as a low power media access control (MAC) protocol that provides battery powered long life networks. The protocol has been evaluated that it achieves high transmission success rate in one-to-one bidirectional transmission model. However, there are no evaluation in many-to-one transmission model. Therefore, the evaluation of many-to-one transmission systems is required which assuming the low power MAC protocol is adopted to various systems in the future. In this paper, the many-to-one transmission with RIT protocol is evaluated theoretically, and computer simulations evaluate the case that the enhanced F-RIT protocol is used. Moreover, experiments using actual Wi-SUN modules that the enhanced F-RIT protocol is implemented are carried out, and transmission success rate characteristics of many-to-one system which the maximum number of senders is 16, are experimentally shown.
