Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The perception of the ambient sound when using earphones in a crowd is greatly influenced by the music level and involves danger and risk. However, most of users tend to prioritize the comfort of music listening because of low crisis consciousness for listening to music in a crowd. On the other hand, in order to achieve compatibility between the comfort of listening to music and ambient sound perception during crowds, we used a microphone-through earphone that can simultaneously present ambient sound and music, and constructed a microphone-through earphone for walking conditions. However, since the ambient sound cannot be perceived depending on the music level also in the microphone-through earphone, we studied the music level presented during walking by the word intelligibility test. As a result, it was found that the correct answer rate was 65%, and the words familiar with listening corresponded to the correct answer rate of 95%.
