A study of influence on cerebral hemodynamics by comfortable/uncomfortable images

Abstract(in English) The improvement of mlutimedia equipment and communication services makes image and video quality has become better. QoS has contributed to the quality improvement of communication services, but recently, QoE expressing the quality experienced by users is drawing attention. In order to quantify QoE, we focus on the neurophysiological approach that measures brain function by NIRS (Near-InfraRed Spectroscopy). In this paper, we measured cerebral hemodynamics when subjects observed comfortable / uncomfortable still images and examined the relationship between cerebral hemodynamics and human sensibility by observing the presented still images. As a result, there was a change in cerebral hemodynamics when the subject felt comfortable / uncomfortable.
