Abstract(in English) | DS-UWB-IR systems, which combines the direct sequence/spread-spectrun techniques with the ultra wideband-impulse radio technniques, are investigated. For the simplification of the receiver, the on-off keying systems with a square-law detector are evaluated. However, in these systems, error rate performance greatly deteriorates by other users signals. To solve this problem, the energy weighted DS-UWB-IR using the modified pseudo orthogonal M-sequence and the square-low detection was propoased. In this paper, the multiuser capability of the proposed system is evaluated under the synchronization between users. Moreover, the relation between bit error rate performance and variance of synchronization error is revealed. Consequently, it is found that the bit error rate decreases until the number of users becomes a half of the length of the modified pseudo orthogonal M-sequence. |
