Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The proportion of elderly people in Japan is currently around 25%, but this is expected to be around 40% as the population declines. The proportion of elderly living alone increases as social environment and its consciousness change. Thus, watching over and monitoring the elderly with frailty is an important need especially in Japan. The overview of the progress of MIMAMORI engineering is introduced mainly focusing on the method of modeling life pattern of living alone elderly, prediction of living behavior, and abnormality detection by monitoring the sensor data installed in the residential home for a long period of time.
