Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To present an animation comfortably, it is desirable to present it at the user’s favorite speed. We proposes a new animation presentation system that adjusts the animation speed automatically for each user. The presentation system estimates the user’s comfortable animation speed using the user's mental tempo. We measured the mental tempo and the favorite animation speed of ten subjects. We found there is a correlation between the mental tempo measured by tapping and blinking lights and the user's favorite animation speed. The results of the questionnaire survey show that presenting an animation at the speed estimated with two mental tempos is most comfortable for the subjects. As a result, it is shown that the proposed system would be useful.
