Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a permutation-based image encryption scheme that improves resistance against brute force attacks and jigsaw puzzle solvers. In the proposed method, we combine several images from an image database and perform the permutation-based image encryption to the combined image. The number of the divided blocks can be increased by concatenating images, and the block size would be maintained. In addition, the proposed scheme extends the conventional encryption scheme by dealing with the R, G, and B components independently. Therefore, it can reduce the color deviation in the encrypted image. The resistance against the above attacks could be consequently increased. We also discuss its key generation and management using hash chains.
