| Abstract(in English) | We proposed a low cost, low power consumption beam-forming technique for wide-band wireless system such as WPAN. In proposed method, only low frequency part of the signals from each element antennas of the antenna array are used for the beam control. Therefore, in comparison with the conventional digital beam-forming which use full bandwidth of the signal, low speed ADCs and low speed DSP can be used to reduce the cost and power consumption of the receiver. The proposed method is proved by measurements. The relation between used signal bandwith, SNR and required calculation time is formulated and validated by measurements. |
