Abstract(in English) | When IoT is widely deployed, various physical devices, sensors, and terminal equipment will be connected to network. The characteristics of IoT traffic generated by the hardware and the applications vary in large. In order to guarantee the communication quality for IoT traffic, it is desirable to be capable to specifically control its traffic behavior by detecting the content of traffic. Thus, to enable such traffic control, we look at the network slicing technique using the network virtualization. At present it is being investigated for the network virtualization and the network slicing, which divides the network and computation resources supplied by COTS servers and creates multiple logical networks in the same network platform, together with the network softwarization which implements the network functionalities by software. The network softwarization aims at software defined networking for data plane as well as the control plane, which is enabled by SDN technology by separating the control plane and data plane of the network equipment. With this technology, more flexible network infrastructure can be provided. This technology is paid attention as the future network technology easily building network to concurrently satisfy the various requirements. This paper, firstly, show the network virtualization technology and the network slicing enabling the network softwarerization. Secondary, with the content based traffic flow classification and control, the usefulness of the network slicing will be experimentally demonstrated. |
