Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, we aim to improve the productivity of office workers with a lot of desk work and maintain health. Continuing to sit with poor or same posture over a long time period causes burdens on the waist and shoulders, then leads to mental stress and decreases in productivity and work efficiency. Therefore, in order to improve the productivity of office workers and reduce the physical burden, it is important to improve the sitting posture and prevent office workers from sitting with poor or same posture for a long time. For that, it is necessary to estimate the current sitting posture of the office worker. In order to estimate the sitting posture, we have developed an office chair with motion sensors and constructed a sitting posture estimation model to estimate various sitting postures. In this paper, estimation accuracy of the sitting posture estimation model and the minimum number of sensors and their positions are described.
