A Fast Reconstruction Method for Compressed Sensing of Videos Utilizing Inter-frame Correlation

Abstract(in English) Compressed sensing saves the cost of information acquisition at the expense of large computational efforts for the reconstruction of original information. In this paper, we propose a novel reconstruction method for compressed sensing of videos called incremental BCS-SPL (I-BCS-SPL), which utilizes inter-frame correlation for efficient reconstruction. In addition, block-adaptive incremental BCS-SPL (BAI-BCS-SPL) is also proposed, in which the required iterations of the reconstructionprocess is adaptively determined on the basis of the estimated inter-frame difference for each block. Compared to an existing method BCS-SPL, the proposed BAI-BCS-SPL achieves 28x acceleration while maintaining equal reconstruction quality.
